By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1.Who This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to (a) our business customers and their authorized users (for example, FFL dealers who use our tools), and (b) end customers who interact with features we power on a dealer's website, such as selecting an FFL at checkout. Where we process end-customer information on behalf of a dealer, the dealer is responsible for its own privacy practices and disclosures; this Policy describes our own practices.
2.Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account & business information — such as name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, and license information you provide when creating an account, requesting a demo, or contacting us.
- Communications — information you provide when you email us, request support, or fill out forms.
Information collected through the Services
- End-customer transaction data — such as a ZIP code or location entered to find a dealer, the dealer selected, and related order context needed to route a transfer.
- Identity/age-verification data — where the ID Checker or compliance features are used, information submitted or generated to verify a buyer's identity and age (see Section 3).
- Usage & device data — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar technical information collected automatically.
3.Identity Verification Data
Certain features (including the ID Checker and features supporting requirements such as California AB 1263) may involve the collection or processing of identity and age-verification information. Where WBT processes this information, we do so to provide the requested verification and compliance-support functionality, and we (and any verification providers we use) handle it in accordance with this Policy and applicable law. Dealers are responsible for obtaining any consents required to collect this information from their customers and for their own retention and disclosure obligations. We do not use identity-verification data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4.How We Use Information
We use information to: provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services; process transactions and route dealer selections; provide identity/age verification and compliance-support features; respond to inquiries and provide support; send administrative and, where permitted, marketing communications; monitor and secure the Services and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements. We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify any individual and use it for any lawful purpose.
5.How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information: with service providers who perform functions on our behalf (for example, hosting, mapping such as the Google Maps API, payment processing, and identity-verification providers), bound by obligations to protect the information; with the dealer to whom an end-customer transaction relates; when required by law or to respond to lawful requests, subpoenas, or legal process; to protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or enforce our Terms; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.
6.Cookies & Analytics
We and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand usage. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. [If you use analytics or advertising cookies, disclose the specific providers here.]
7.Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including any recordkeeping requirements applicable to firearms-related transactions), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for your own systems and practices.
9.Your Choices & Rights
You may update your account information or unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@wbtwebsolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where we process end-customer information on behalf of a dealer, we may direct your request to that dealer.
10.California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion or correction; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@wbtwebsolutions.com. [Confirm your specific CCPA/CPRA disclosures and categories with counsel.]
11.Children
The Services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12.Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
13.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
